last week my last semester of my Masters’ studies started and I have the wonderful opportunity to study at the University of California in Irvine. I got to know great instructors and students already and the best thing is they come from all over the world. My current class on Project Management involves students from Brazil, France, Dubai, India, Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Germany (I’m the only one).
So we have a great international diversity and most of the course will be held in form of a practical group work which gives me the chance to learn directly about the cultural differences. Moreover a great factor is that we are also diverse in age, in industry and in hierarchical experience which allows to enjoy a realistic project environment because different generations have to adapt to each other to get the best outcome.
Within the next 10 weeks I will write short posts about my experiences here.
Best regards from sunny Orange County,
